Expert medical advisor definition

Expert medical advisor means a physician who has been certified by the Agency as an expert medical advisor and who has contracted with the Agency to provide peer review or medical consultation to the Agency or to a judge of compensation claims.

  • Medical Advise means any consultation or advice from a Medical Practitioner including the issue of any prescription or repeat prescription.

  • Sub-Advisor shall include the Sub-Advisor and/or any of its affiliates and the directors, officers and employees of the Sub-Advisor and/or any of its affiliates.

  • Participating Clinical Professional Counselor means a Clinical Professional Counselor who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Specialist medical practitioner means a specialist as defined in section 3 of the Health Insurance Act 1973.

  • Medical professional means a person licensed to practice
