exempt development means all other development including but not limited to, additions, alterations, remodels, and structures other than residential dwelling units.
exempt development means development in respect of which the Secretary of State has made a direction under regulation 63;

exempt development means development in respect of which the Scottish Ministers have made a direction under regulation 6(4) or (6);
exempt development means developments set forth in WAC 173‐27‐040 and RCW 90.58.030(3)(e), 90.58.140(9), 90.58.147, 90.58.355, and 90.58.515 which are not required to obtain a substantial development permit but which must otherwise comply with applicable provisions of the Act and the local Shoreline Program. These include:
exempt development. Means a use or development activity that is not a substantial development and that is specifically listed as exempt from the substantial development permit requirement in WAC 173-27-040, but which must otherwise comply with the applicable provisions of the Act and the Program.
exempt development means development listed in WAC 173-27-040 as exempt from the definition of “Substantial Development,” and, therefore, exempt from the Substantial Development permit process of the SMA. An activity that is exempt from the substantial development provisions of the SMA must still be carried out in compliance with policies and standards of the SMA and the SMP. Conditional use and/or variance permits may still be required even though the activity does not need a Substantial Development permit (RCW 90.58.030(3e)).
exempt development means development in respect of which the Department has made a direction under regulation 3(1)(b) or 3(1)(c) or the Secretary of State has made a direction under regulation 62 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017(5);
exempt development means any development that creates less than 1,000 square feet of new impervious area and disturbs less than 2,500 square feet of land. An exempt development shall not meet the definition of "minor development."
exempt development means development referred to in section 23;
