European Personal Data definition

European Personal Data in this sub-clause means Personal Data which comes within the scope of any of the laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, and the United Kingdom applicable to the processing of Personal Data as amended from time to time;

European Personal Data means any information that relates to a specific natural person who resides in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and who can be identified, directly or indirectly, such as by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

European Personal Data means Personal Information originating from or Processed in the European Union or otherwise subject to European Data Protection Laws.

Examples of European Personal Data in a sentence

• Individual means a natural person whose European Personal Data is subject to this Policy.

• If Vendor is processing European Personal Data on behalf of CSHL, Vendor agrees to be bound by the provisions of Attachment A which is hereby incorporated as if set forth fully herein.

• Privacy Champion means the person who is responsible for day to day compliance issues within his/her area of responsibility and who is responsible for reporting major privacy issues involving European Personal Data to the Global Privacy Officer.

• The relevant Privacy Champion will handle all complaints arising under this Policy in respect of the processing of European Personal Data.

• The purpose of this Complaint Handling Procedure is to explain how complaints brought by an individual whose European Personal Data is processed by a Member Firm under this Policy are dealt with.

More Definitions of European Personal Data

European Personal Data means, in relation to processing by an Exporting Entity, any personal data subject to European Data Protection Law; and, in relation to processing by an Importing Entity, any personal data which is transferred from an Exporting Entity under this Policy;

European Personal Data means personal data of (i) staff, attorneys, partners, consultants, contractors and potential candidates for any of the above collected and processed in relation to recruitment and human resources administration; (ii) clients, prospective clients and alumni processed in relation to marketing and communications purposes; and (iii) suppliers, vendors, contractors and advisers processed in the context of the relationship between such entities and Latham & Watkins, by any L&W Entity as a data controller which is subject to applicable EU Privacy Laws.

European Personal Data means any Personal Data Processed by Boeing or any Boeing Group Company as a Data Controller either (i) located within the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) or (ii) where such Personal Data is otherwise processed by that Data Controller subject to the GDPR.

European Personal Data means personal data of natural persons subject to the Regulation.
