Escorted Day Leave definition
Escorted Day Leave means the authorized absence of a youth from the detention facility into the community for a period of less than 24-hours under direct escort and supervision of the detention center staff. May be referred to as furlough by the courts.
Escorted Day Leave means the patient, for a period of not more than 1 day is authorised to leave the service and is required to remain in the physical presence of a health service employee. The legislation does not explain what considerations are taken into account to grant leave.
