Erosion Control Measures definition

Erosion Control Measures means the structural and nonstructural BMP for erosion control that prevents displacement of soil particles by wind or water. BMP erosion control measures may include seeding, mulching, vegetative buffer strips, sod, plastic coverings, rip rap, gabions, and other channel armoring methods, burlap coverings, watering, and other BMP measures that control the movement of the ground surface or soil.
