EQUALS definition

EQUALS means material, equipment or methods proposed and warranted by the General Prime Contractor as being equivalent to essential attributes of the material, equipment or method specified in the Contract Documents, and approved by DFD.
EQUALS. A replacement for the specified material, device, procedure, equipment, etc., which has been determined by the Project Coordinator (as deemed necessary) to be substantially identical to the first listed manufacturer or first listed procedure specified in terms of cost, quality, and performance for the Project.
