Environmental Matters definition

Environmental Matters means any matter arising out of or relating to health and safety, or pollution or protection of the environment or workplace, including any of the foregoing relating to the presence, use, production, generation, handling, transport, treatment, storage, disposal, distribution, discharge, release, control or cleanup of any Hazardous Substance.
Environmental Matters means any legal obligation or liability arising under Environmental Law.
Environmental Matters means all matters relating to the pollution or protection of the Environment;

Environmental Matters means any of the following:
Environmental Matters means (i) any order, notice of responsibility, directive (including requirements embodied in Environmental Laws), injunction, judgment or similar act (including settlements) by any Governmental Authority arising out of or under any Environmental Laws or (ii) pursuant to any claim or cause of action by a Governmental Authority or third party for personal injury, property damage, damage to natural resources, remediation or response costs arising out of or attributable to any Hazardous Materials or any violation of, or any remedial obligation under, any Environmental Law.
Environmental Matters shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 4.6(b).
Environmental Matters means; (i) the protection of the environment, worker health and safety and/or the public welfare from actual or potential exposure (or the effects of exposure) to any actual or potential release, discharge, disposal or emission (whether past or present) of any hazardous substance or waste; (ii) the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, labelling, storage, disposal, transport or handling of any hazardous substance or waste, or (iii) soil or groundwater contamination, air pollution or surface water pollution or other actual or threatened impact on the environment, worker health and safety or public welfare;
Environmental Matters includes (a) the generation, deposit, disposal, keeping, treatment, transportation, transmission, handling, importation, exportation, processing, collection, sorting, presence or manufacture of any waste (as defined in the Environmental Protection Act 1990) of any Relevant Substance; (b) nuisance, noise, defective premises, health and safety at work or elsewhere; and (c) the pollution, conservation or protection of the environment (both natural and built) or of man or any living organisms supported by the environment or any other matter whatsoever affecting the environment or any part of it;
Environmental Matters means waste (as defined in Section 75 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990), contaminated land, discharges and emissions of Hazardous Materials into any environmental medium, noise and vibration, heat light and radiation, dangerous hazardous or toxic substances and materials, nuisance (including statutory nuisance) and health and safety;
Environmental Matters means any Liability arising under any Environmental Law, whether arising under theories of contract, tort, negligence, successor or enterprise liability, strict liability, or other legal or equitable theory, including (i) any failure to comply with applicable Environmental Laws and (ii) any Liabilities arising from the presence of, Release or threatened Release of, or exposure of persons or property to, Hazardous Materials at the locations where the Business is conducted or elsewhere.
