Engine or Engines definition

Engine or Engines means, in respect of an Aircraft:
Engine or Engines means, in respect of an Aircraft, (a) each of the engines described in Schedule 3 to the relevant Loan Supplement, whether or not from time to time during the term of the relevant Loan installed on the Airframe or any other airframe (for so long as it remains property of the relevant Borrower) but which, having been removed from the Airframe, remains the property of the relevant Borrower or (b) any other Replacement Engine substituted therefor which becomes the property of the relevant Borrower including, if applicable, any other Engine which may from time to time be installed upon or attached to the Airframe and which becomes the property of the relevant Borrower and (c) insofar as the same belong to the relevant Borrower any and all Parts of whatever nature from time to time relating to an engine referred to in (a) and (b) above whether or not installed on or attached to such engine and (d) insofar as the same belong to the relevant Borrower all substitutions, replacements or renewals from time to time made on or to any item referred to in (a),(b) and (c).
Engine or Engines means an International Aero Engines V-2500, owned or leased and operated by Customer and installed on an Aircraft.

Examples of Engine or Engines in a sentence

  • In the event of the substitution of a Replacement Engine pursuant to Section 5.02 of the Mortgage and Section 13(a) hereof, all provisions of this Agreement and the Mortgage relating to an Engine or Engines being replaced shall be applicable to such Replacement Engine or Engines with the same force and effect as if such Replacement Engine or Engines were the same engine or engines as the Engine or Engines being replaced but for the Event of Loss with respect to an Engine or Engines being replaced.

  • Save where the context otherwise requires, references to an or the "Engine" are to the Engine or Engines described in the subject Lease Agreement.

  • Should the Company have provided a Replacement Airframe, together with Replacement Engines, if any, all provisions of this Indenture relating to the Airframe and Engine or Engines, if any, being replaced shall be applicable to the Replacement Airframe and Replacement Engine or Replacement Engines with the same force and effect.

  • Upon the occurrence of an Event of Loss with respect to the Airframe, and any Engine or Engines installed thereon at the time of such Event of Loss, Lessee shall promptly (and in any event within 10 Business Days after such occurrence) give Lessor and Mortgagee written notice of such Event of Loss.

  • Prior to any Loan disbursement, Agents shall be named as additional insureds on all liability insurance, all risk ground and flight engine coverage for damage or loss of the related Engine or Engines, and war risk insurance (if applicable) and Agents shall be named as a loss payee under all hull insurance policies insuring the Collateral.

  • If a Total Loss of the Airframe occurs and any Engine or Engines (a “Surviving Engine”) has not become a Total Loss, Lessor, at the request of Lessee, will, subject Those portions of this Agreement marked with an [*] have been omitted pursuant to a request for confidential treatment and have been filed separately with the SEC.

  • The Airframe to be sold by AVSA xx the Owner Trustee pursuant to the Participation Agreement and to be leased under the Lease (or any permitted substitute airframe) together with the two Engines (or any Replacement Engine or Engines) whether or not any of such initial or Replacement Engines may from time to time be installed on such Airframe or may be installed on any other airframe or on any other aircraft, including any aircraft substituted pursuant to Section 11.03 of the Lease.

  • In the event a Total Loss of an Engine or Engines occurs prior to the Closing Date for that Engine or those Engines, the parties shall be released from their remaining obligations hereunder with respect to that Engine or those Engines.

  • The Application (Form A) and any additional documentation regarding the financial feasibility of the Development must be placed in Tab A.

Related to Engine or Engines

  • Engines means, as of any date of determination, all Engines then leased hereunder.

  • Airframe means the fuselage, booms, nacelles, cowlings, fairings, airfoil surfaces including rotors (but excluding propellers and rotating airfoils of a powerplant) and landing gear of an aircraft and their accessories and controls;

  • airframes means airframes (other than those used in military, customs or police services) that, when appropriate aircraft engines are installed thereon, are type certified by the competent aviation authority to transport:

  • aircraft engines means aircraft engines (other than those used in military, customs or police services) powered by jet propulsion or turbine or piston technology and:

  • Engine under the Lease. The term "Engines" means, as of any date of determination, both Engines then leased to the Lessee pursuant to the Lease.

  • Diesel engine means an engine which works on the compression-ignition principle.

  • Certified Remanufacture System or Verified Engine Upgrade means engine upgrades certified or verified by EPA or CARB to achieve a reduction in emissions.

  • Nonroad Engine means an internal combustion engine (including the fuel system) that is not used in a Motor Vehicle or a vehicle used solely for competition, or that is not subject to standards promulgated under section 7411 or section 7521 of title 42 of the United States Code, except that this term shall apply to internal combustion engines used to power generators, compressors or similar equipment used in any construction program or project.

  • Compression Ignition Engine means an internal combustion engine with operating characteristics significantly similar to the theoretical diesel combustion cycle. The regulation of power by controlling fuel supply in lieu of a throttle is indicative of a compression ignition engine.

  • Customer Premises Equipment or "CPE" means equipment employed on the premises of a Person other than a Carrier to originate, route or terminate Telecommunications (e.g., a telephone, PBX, modem pool, etc.).

  • Installed means attached or connected such that an item requires tools for removal.

  • Replacement Airframe means any airframe substituted for the Airframe pursuant to Article IV of the Trust Indenture.

  • Item of Equipment means each item of the Equipment.

  • Dual-Fuel Engine means an engine that is designed to simultaneously operate with a liquid fuel and a gaseous fuel, both fuels being metered separately, the consumed amount of one of the fuels relative to the other one being able to vary depending on the operation;

  • Engine degreaser means a cleaning product designed to remove grease, grime, oil and other contaminants from the external surfaces of engines and other mechanical parts.

  • Replacement Engine means a [Engine Manufacturer and Model] engine (or an engine of the same or another manufacturer of a comparable or an improved model and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe with the other Engine (or any other Replacement Engine being substituted simultaneously therewith)) that shall have been made subject to the Lien of the Indenture pursuant to Section 7.04 or Section 7.05 thereof, together with all Parts relating to such engine, but excluding items installed or incorporated in or attached to any such engine from time to time that are excluded from the definition of Parts.

  • Public aircraft means an aircraft used exclusively in the service of any government or of any political subdivision thereof, including the government of any state, territory, or possession of the United States, or the District of Columbia, but not including any government-owned aircraft engaged in carrying persons or property for commercial purposes.

  • Major Equipment means the items of Equipment listed as such in Attachment G.

  • APU means the auxiliary power unit of the Aircraft.

  • Other Equipment is leasehold improvements, intangible property such as computer software and software licenses, equipment specifically designed or manufactured for Borrower, other intangible property, limited use property and other similar property and soft costs approved by Bank, including taxes, shipping, warranty charges, freight discounts and installation expenses.

  • Contractor Equipment means all appliances and things of whatsoever nature (other than temporary works) required for execution and completion of works and remedying of any defects, therein. But does not include plant, materials or other things intended to form or forming part of the permanent works.

  • Aircraft means any machine that can derive support in the atmosphere from the reactions of the air other than the reactions of the air against the earth’s surface;

  • CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT means all appliances and equipment of whatsoever nature for the use in or for the execution, completion operation or maintenance of the work unless intended to form part of permanent work.

  • Brand Name or Equal Specification means a specification which uses one or more manufacturer’s names or catalogue numbers to describe the standard of quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet District requirements, and which provides for the submission of equivalent products.

  • Model shall refer to a particular brand of Vehicle sold by an OEM (e.g., Taurus, Tahoe, Grand Caravan).

  • Engine Manufacturer means CFM International, Inc.
