Energy Efficiency Measures definition

Energy Efficiency Measures means an element of design that minimizes energy consumption and integrates passive and active design elements while meeting the operational needs of the facility.
Energy Efficiency Measures means equipment, materials, and practices at a customer’s site that result in a reduction in electric energy consumption, measured in kilowatt- hours (kWh), or peak demand, measured in kilowatts (kWs), or both. These measures may include thermal energy storage and removal of an inefficient appliance so long as the customer need satisfied by the appliance is still met.
Energy Efficiency Measures means activities on the customers’ side of the meter which reduce customers’ energy use or demand including, but not limited to, end-use efficiency improvements; load control or load management; thermal energy storage; or pricing strategies.

Examples of Energy Efficiency Measures in a sentence

  • Energy Efficiency Measures Estimated Total Project Cost Energy Commission Loan Estimated Annual Energy Cost Savings Simple Payback* (Years) [Insert EEM #1.

  • The Energy Specialist shall conduct an Assessment to determine which Energy Efficiency Measures will be installed to meet the energy goal of the program.

  • The Contractor shall make recommendations to the AOC for cost and feasibility of implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures and Sustainability Measures, within the approved design.

  • Energy Efficiency Measures do not include equipment, materials, or systems that are installed as a part of new construction of a building, structure, or other facility, unless specifically authorized by EPE.

  • Energy Savings shall mean the amount, expressed in kilowatt-hours (kWh), by which electric energy consumption is reduced as a result of the installation of qualifying Energy Efficiency Measures at the Project Site(s).

More Definitions of Energy Efficiency Measures

Energy Efficiency Measures means equipment, materials, and practices at a customer’s site that result in a reduction in electric energy consumption, measured in kilowatt- hours (kWh), or demand, measured in kilowatts (kW), or both.
Energy Efficiency Measures means activities on the customers’ side of the meter which reduce customers’ energy use or demand including, but not limited to, end-use efficiency improvements or pricing strategies.
Energy Efficiency Measures means any installation, improvement, addition, or equipment approved
Energy Efficiency Measures for the purposes of this FOA, means the implementation of (1) building efficiency measure(s) or (2) industrial process efficiency measure(s) (see definitions).
Energy Efficiency Measures for the purposes of this FOA, means the implementation of a (1) building efficiency measure(s), or an (2) industrial process efficiency measure(s). For the purposes of this FOA, “energy efficiency” is not the same as “energy conservation”, which is not eligible under this FOA. See definitions under Appendix A.
Energy Efficiency Measures means any type of project conducted, or technology implemented, to reduce the consumption of energy in a building. The types of projects implemented can be in a variety of forms but are usually designed to reduce electric utility costs.
Energy Efficiency Measures means any installation, improvement, addition, or equipment approved by the cooperative for purpose of its on-bill tariff program that has the primary purpose of improving the energy efficiency of the premises and reducing its consumption of energy, including heating and air conditioning systems, water heaters, weatherization, insulation, window and door modifications, appliances, and automatic or Internet-connected energy control systems. "Energy efficiency measures" does not include (i) energy conservation measures to improve the energy efficiency of (i) premises constructed within five years prior to an eligible customer's request to participate in an on-bill tariff program or (ii) premises that are under initial construction or (ii) the electrification of any process or activity primarily fueled by natural gas.
