Energy Credit definition

Energy Credit means the monthly Energy Credit generated by the Project. The monthly Energy Credit will be based on actual generation. The Project’s solar production will be metered and a portion of the production during each billing cycle will be allocated to Participant’s monthly Electric Xxxx based on the number of Solar Units Participant has purchased. Each Solar Unit is expected to produce an average of 16 kWh of electricity on an annual basis (more in the summer and less in the winter). The total amount of credit applied to Participant’s xxxx will be based upon the number of Solar Units purchased and the actual energy production (kilowatt-hours, or kWh) during each billing cycle, multiplied by Clallam PUD’s then-applicable retail electrical rate. Only whole number kWh will be allocated to Participant’s monthly Electric Xxxx, and any fractional portion of kWh generation will be added to the generation for each subsequent billing cycle until the accumulated fractional portions equal a whole number kWh. The Energy Credit is in the nature of ageneration credit” in that it is directly related to the amount of renewable energy actually generated by the Project. On an annual basis, Energy Credits not allocated via the estimated monthly xxxx credit will be applied to the Account. SAMPLE
Energy Credit is the amount of electricity generated by the Solar Unit as defined in Section 6.3.
Energy Credit means a unit, representing one kWh of new end-use energy savings, that may be obtained by an obligated party by the means specified in Regulation 10(4)(b) for the purpose of achieving its annual EEOS target;

More Definitions of Energy Credit

Energy Credit means Purchaser’s share of the actual Net Electrical Output of the SunSmart Project in kilowatt hours, as determined by the City from meters installed for such purposes and read after the end of each calendar month. The applicable Energy Credit will be credited monthly against the Electric Xxxx of Purchaser as an offset against energy otherwise metered and billed for residential use at the Residential Property. If all currently available Solar Units are sold out, the Energy Credit will begin following Commercial Operation of the next Phase of the SunSmart Project, or from another available renewable energy resource determined by the City.
Energy Credit means the amount BL&P will credit the Customer Generator’s account for the kWh delivered to the Grid, as determined in accordance with the Renewable Energy Rider.
Energy Credit means a billing credit the Participant is eligible to receive on their Electric Xxxx based on the amount of electric energy produced by the Solar Units selected by the Participant. See Section 6.
Energy Credit has the meaning specified in Section 6.05 hereof. “Energy Credit Multiplier” means nine-tenths (0.9).
