Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.
Employment Term refers to the entire period of employment of Employee by Employer, whether for the periods provided above, or whether terminated earlier as hereinafter provided or extended by mutual agreement between Employer and Employee.
Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.
Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2 below.
Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.
employment zone means an area within Great Britain designated for the purposes of section 60 of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 and an “employment zone programme” means a programme established for such an area or areas designed to assist claimants for a jobseeker’s allowance to obtain sustainable employment;
Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.
self-employment route means assistance in pursuing self-employed earner’s employment whilst participating in—
Severance Term means the twenty-four (24) month period following Executive’s termination by the Company without Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Executive for Good Reason.
Year of Employment means a period of service of 12 months.
Self-employment means engaging in any legal income generating activity that is taxable under the United States Tax Code or that would be taxable with or without a treaty between an Indian Nation and the United States, as ver- ified by Washington state business license, or a tribal, county, or city business or occupation license, as applicable, and a uniform business identification (UBI) number for approved self-employment activities that occur outside of the home. Incorporated businesses are not considered self-employment enterprises.
Employment means any occupation, vocation or employment, or any form of vocational or educational training. Provided, however, that "employment" shall not, for the purposes of this article, include membership in any law enforcement agency.
Post-Employment Period in this Section 8.2 shall mean the 12-month period beginning on the date of termination of the Executive’s employment with the Employer and the Employer shall have no right to further extend the period pursuant to this Section 8.2. If any covenant in this Section 8.2 is held to be unreasonable, arbitrary, or against public policy, such covenant will be considered to be divisible with respect to scope, time, and geographic area, and such lesser scope, time, or geographic area, or all of them, as a court of competent jurisdiction may determine to be reasonable, not arbitrary, and not against public policy, will be effective, binding, and enforceable against the Executive. The period of time applicable to any covenant in this Section 8.2 will be extended by the duration of any violation by the Executive of such covenant. The Executive will, while the covenant under this Section 8.2 is in effect, give notice to the Employer, within 10 days after accepting any other employment, of the identity of the Executive’s employer. The Employer may notify such employer that the Executive is bound by this Agreement and, at the Employer’s election, furnish such employer with a copy of this Agreement or relevant portions thereof.
Date of Employment means the first day an Employee performs an Hour of Service.
Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.
Employment benefits means all benefits provided or made
Scope of employment means performance by an employee acting in good faith within the duties of the employee’s office or employment or of tasks lawfully assigned by a competent authority including the operation or use of an agency vehicle or equipment with actual or implied consent of the supervisor of the employee, but shall not include corruption or fraud;
the Executive means the Health and Safety Executive;
contract of employment means a contract of service or apprenticeship, whether express or implied, and (if it is express) whether oral or in writing;
Employment outcome means, with respect to an individual, entering, advancing in, or retraining full-time or, if appropriate, part-time competitive integrated employment; supported employment; or any other type of employment, including customized employment, self-employment, telecommuting, or business ownership, that is consistent with an individual’s strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests and informed choice.
Employment Law means any provision of this Act or any of the following Acts:
Agreement Term has the meaning set forth in Section 11.1.
Prior Employment Agreement has the meaning set forth in the recitals hereto.
Terms and Conditions of Employment means the hours of employment, the compensation therefore including fringe benefits, except retirement contributions or benefits other than School District employer payment of, or contributions to, premiums for group insurance coverage for retired employees or severance pay, and the School District’s personnel policies affecting the working conditions of the employee. “Terms and conditions of employment” is subject to the provisions of PELRA.
Comparable Employment means employment on terms which provide (a) the same or greater rate of base pay or salary as in effect immediately prior to Executive’s termination, (b) the same, equivalent or higher job title and level of responsibility as Executive had prior to Executive’s termination, (c) equivalent or higher bonus opportunity as the bonus opportunity for the year preceding the year in which the termination occurs, and d) a principal work location that is both (i) no more than forty-five (45) miles from Executive’s principal work location immediately prior to Executive’s termination and (ii) no more than thirty (30) miles farther from Executive’s principal weekday residence than was Executive’s principal work location immediately prior to the termination.
