Employee or Officer definition

Employee or Officer means any person who is a permanent full-time or part-time employee or Officer of the Company or of any of its subsidiary companies and who in the Board’s opinion is an executive and includes an executive director or non executive director of the Company or of any of its subsidiary companies.
Employee or Officer means any individual who works for the CRC on a full-time, part-time, or temporary basis, including any individual working as an advisor or a contractor, provided that such contractor is involved in the credit rating process.
Employee or Officer means a person contemplated in section 8 of the PSA but excludes a person (special advisor) appointed in terms of section 12A of that Act.

Examples of Employee or Officer in a sentence

  • Director or officer means any of the following:

  • Employee means an employee of the Contractor directly engaged in the performance of work under the contract who has other than a minimal impact or involvement in contract performance.

  • proper officer (“swyddog priodol”) means an officer of that council within the meaning of section 270(3) of the Local Government Act 1972; and

  • the Executive means the Health and Safety Executive;

  • Named Executive Officers or “NEOs” means the following individuals:

  • Section 16 Officer means every person who is directly or indirectly the beneficial owner of more than ten percent (10%) of any class of any equity security (other than an exempted security) which is registered pursuant to Section 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Section 16 officers include officers or directors of the issuer of such security, and those who perform a policy-making function for the issuer. See Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Nuveen Fund Board approves the list of Section 16 Officers for the Nuveen Funds on an annual basis. This list is maintained in the Legal Department in Chicago and includes portfolio managers, traders, and other access persons responsible for making policy related decisions.

  • BD Officer means each officer or employee of BD designated as a "BD Officer" for purposes of this Agreement in a communication to the Auction Agent.

  • Supervisory employee means an employee, regardless of job description, having authority in the interest of the employer to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to assign work to and direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively recommend that action, if, in connection with the foregoing functions, the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.

  • Health Officer means the chief administrative and executive officer of a local public health agency, or the appointed health officer of the local board of health. Health officer includes a director of a local public health agency.

  • Eligible Executive means an employee of the Company selected as being eligible to participate in this Plan under Section C.1.a.

  • Senior executive officer means the Company’s “senior executive officers” as defined in subsection 111(b)(3) of EESA.

  • Member Director means a Director elected or appointed pursuant to section 8(2)(a) of the Act and Section 5.02;

  • Aggrieved Employee means all current and former hourly-paid or non-exempt employees of Defendant within the State of California at any time during the PAGA Period.

  • The Employer means the Municipality; and

  • Employer as defined in Section 3(5) of ERISA.

  • Covered Executive means any “executive officer” of the Company as defined under Rule 10D-1.

  • Assistant Director means the Asstt. Director of the Authority, as the case may be.

  • Corporate Status describes the status of a person who is or was a director, officer, trustee, general partner, manager, managing member, fiduciary, employee or agent of the Company or of any other Enterprise (as defined below) which such person is or was serving at the request of the Company.

  • Self-Employed Individual means an individual who has Earned Income for the taxable year from the Employer or who would have had Earned Income but for the fact that the trade or business had no net profits for the taxable year, including, but not limited to, a partner in a partnership, a sole proprietor, a member in a limited liability company or a shareholder in a subchapter S corporation.

  • Executive Officer means, with respect to any corporation, the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President, Executive Vice President, any Vice President, the Secretary or the Treasurer of such corporation; and with respect to any partnership, any general partner thereof.

  • Hearings Officer means a person from time to time appointed by Council pursuant to the Hearings Officer By-law;

  • Incapacitated individual means an individual who is impaired by reason of mental illness, mental deficiency, physical illness or disability, chronic use of drugs, chronic intoxication, or other cause, not including minority, to the extent of lacking sufficient understanding or capacity to make or communicate informed decisions.
