Expenses Incurred by a Protected Person With Our Consent Expenses incurred by a protected person with our consent means the reasonable expenses that a protected person incurs at our request while helping us investigate or defend a claim or suit for covered loss. The most we will pay for such expenses is $500 per day for earnings actually lost by the protected person because of time taken off from work. Indemnitee Defence Expenses Indemnitee defence expenses means those legal fees, costs or expenses incurred by or for a party other than a protected person resulting directly from liability assumed in a covered contract.
