Emergency response department definition

Emergency response department means any governmental department which might be reason- ably expected to be required to respond to an emergency involving a hazardous chemical, including, but not limited to, local fire, police, medical rescue, disaster, and public health departments.
Emergency response department means the Emergency Response Department as established and organized for the City pursuant to the provisions of this Bylaw consisting of, inter alia, all persons appointed or recruited to the various positions prescribed herein, all equipment, emergency units, materials and supplies used in the operation, maintenance and administration of Emergency Response Department, including fire and ambulance stations;

Any reasonable delay in the completion of an explosives or munitions emergency response caused by a necessary, unforeseen, or uncontrollable circumstance will not terminate the explosives or munitions emergency. Explosives and munitions emergency responses can occur on either public or private lands and are not limited to responses at RCRA facilities.

  • Medication administration means the direct application of medications by injection, inhalation, ingestion, or any other means to an individual receiving services by (i) persons legally permitted to administer medications or (ii) the individual at the direction and in the presence of persons legally permitted to administer medications.
