Emergency definition

Emergency means a condition or situation that is likely to endanger the safety or security of the individuals on or about the Project Highway, including Users thereof, or which poses an immediate threat of material damage to any of the Project Assets;
Emergency means natural calamities, disasters, accidents, war and breakdown of operational equipment, plant, machinery or engineering infrastructures, which may give rise to abnormal situation requiring prompt and immediate action to limit or avoid damage to person(s), property or the environment;
Emergency means a medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms. The acute symptoms are severe enough (including severe pain) that a prudent layperson, with an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect that without immediate medical attention serious jeopardy to the health of a person (or, with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child), serious impairment to bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part could result.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is understood and agreed that no Loan Party will be required to maintain flood insurance unless any Real Property owned by it is required to be so insured pursuant to the flood insurance laws, because such Real Property is located in an area which has been identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (or any successor agency) as a special flood hazard area with respect to which flood insurance has been made available under the flood insurance laws.
