Eligible Surviving Spouse definition

Eligible Surviving Spouse means an individual to whom a Retired Executive legally is married under the laws of the state or foreign jurisdiction where the marriage took place prior to such Retired Executive’s benefit commencement date and for at least one year as of the date of the Retired Executive’s death.
Eligible Surviving Spouse means the person to whom the Employee was legally married on his benefit commencement date and at the time of his death has been married for at least 12 months.
Eligible Surviving Spouse means a spouse, as defined by the Federal Defense of Marriage Act of 1996, to whom a Retired Employee has been married for at least one year at the date of the Retired Employee's death.
