Electronically stored information (ESI) definition

Electronically stored information (ESI) means any BPA records that are stored on, or generated by, an electronic device, or contained in electronically accessible media, either owned by the Contractor, subcontractor(s), or employees of the Contractor or subcontractor(s) regardless of the physical location of the device or media (e.g., offsite servers or data storage).
Electronically stored information (ESI) means any information stored in any electronic medium from which information can be obtained either directly or, if necessary, after translation by the responding party into a reasonably usable form.
