Electricity theft definition
Electricity theft means diverting, altering, or bypassing any power meter designated for regular power supply use and monitored by the local utility district or company for residential and commercial power. Electricity theft is committed by the growers, manufacturers, and processors of cannabis, and cannabis and hemp-related products in order to remain undetected by law enforcement officials.
Electricity theft means an act of illegally taking electricity without mater meters, tampering with an electricity meter and other electrical equipment related to electricity metering, deliberately recording or collaborating in recording electricity meter readings and other acts of deliberately reflecting incorrect electricity consumption data.
Electricity theft means use of energy as set out in Article 28.3 of the Rule on General Conditions of Energy Supply.
