Electricity Ombudsman definition

Electricity Ombudsman means an authority to be appointed or designated by the Commission, under sub-section (6) of Section 42 of the Act, with whom a representation may be made by any consumer, who is aggrieved by non-redressal of his grievances by the Forum;

Interpretation.- These Regulations shall be construed harmoniously with the Electricity Supply Code notified by the Commission under the provisions of clause (x), and the Distribution Performance Standards of the licensee under clause (za,), of sub- section (2) of section 181 of the Act and in case of any inconsistency with these Regulations, Distribution Performance Standards of the licensee and the Electricity Supply Code shall prevail.
