Electric Interconnection Facilities definition
Electric Interconnection Facilities means all lines, structures, facilities, equipment, auxiliary equipment, items, systems, devices, apparatus and other assets directly or indirectly required and installed or required to be installed by or for Seller to interconnect the Facility at the Electric Interconnection Point and to make available Contract Capacity and Storage Capacity at, and deliver Contract Energy, Storage Energy, and Other Electric Products to, the Electric Interconnection Point, including electric transmission and/or distribution lines; connection, engineering, administrative, transformation and switching equipment and apparatus; Protective Apparatus; electric metering equipment at the Facility; any Electric Metering Equipment of Seller or its Affiliates or Subcontractors at the Electric Interconnection Point; and any other metering equipment, communications equipment and safety equipment that may be directly or indirectly required to interconnect physically and electrically the Facility at the Electric Interconnection Point.
Electric Interconnection Facilities means all structures, facilities, equipment, substations, switchyards, auxiliary equipment, devices and apparatus directly or indirectly required or installed to interconnect and deliver electric energy from the Project to the applicable delivery points on the ELL Transmission System or otherwise, including electric transmission and/or distribution lines, transformers, switching equipment, electric metering equipment, and any other metering equipment, communications equipment, and safety equipment, including equipment required to protect (i) the electrical system to which the Project is connected and customers on such system from faults occurring at the Project and (ii) the Project from faults occurring on the electrical system to which the Project is connected or on other electrical systems to which such electrical system is directly or indirectly connected.
Electric Interconnection Facilities means all structures, facilities, equipment, substations, switchyards, auxiliary equipment, devices and apparatus directly or indirectly required or installed to interconnect and deliver electric energy from the Project to the applicable delivery points on the ELL Transmission System, including electric transmission and/or distribution lines, transformers, switching equipment, electric metering equipment, and any other metering equipment, communications equipment, and safety equipment, including equipment required to protect (i) the electrical system to which the Project is connected and customers on such system from faults occurring at the Project and (ii) the Project from faults occurring on the electrical system to which the Project is connected or on other electrical systems to which such electrical system is directly or indirectly connected.

During the Term, LCC may, for no charge, use the CLI Electric Interconnection Facilities (and any other facilities owned or leased by CLI that may be required by LCC) to obtain electricity to be delivered to the Electricity Points of Delivery from Persons other than CLI when permitted by this Agreement.

Electric Interconnection Facilities means all structures, facilities, equipment, substations, auxiliary equipment, devices and apparatus directly or indirectly required or installed to interconnect and deliver electric energy from the Project to its interconnection point with the Transmission System (such interconnection point being the 230 kV disconnect switches of the Seller-owned generator-step-up transformer(s)), including electric transmission and/or distribution lines, transformation, switching, electric metering equipment, any other metering equipment, communications equipment, and safety equipment, including equipment required to protect (i) the electrical system to which the Project is connected and its customers from faults occurring at the Project and (ii) the Project from faults occurring on the electrical system to which the Project is connected or on other electrical systems to which such electrical system is directly or indirectly connected, provided that all structures, facilities, equipment, substations, auxiliary equipment, devices and apparatus and other similar property that is to be transferred to Purchaser pursuant to the Interconnection Transfer Agreement shall not be included in “Electric Interconnection Facilities”.
Electric Interconnection Facilities means the facilities, equipment and systems for electric interconnection necessary for the coordinated and integrated delivery of Energy from the Facility to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Substation, including all wires, switches, transformers, protective equipment, substations and control systems, but not including facilities, equipment or systems required by any Governmental Authority to be owned by Cleco Utility Group. "Encumber" (and with correlative meaning the term "Encumbrance") means the creation of a security interest, lien, pledge, mortgage or other encumbrance, whether such encumbrance be voluntary, involuntary or by operation of Applicable Law.
