Elective Services definition

Elective Services means health care services rendered to a covered person that are not emergency
Elective Services means all other services not defined as an Emergency Medical Condition.
Elective Services means scheduled services and certain non-emergent “walk-up” services (e.g., lab services) that are approved for a Cash Pay Rate under the guidelines set forth in this policy.

Examples of Elective Services in a sentence

  • UPMC may, in its sole and absolute discretion, elect to provide any of the following services (“UPMC Elective Services”) which shall be governed by the terms and conditions of this Agreement but shall not be considered to be part of the “Services.” UPMC may opt in or out of participation in any UPMC Elective Services at its discretion.

  • UPMC’s indemnity obligations regarding UPMC Elective Services shall apply only for the actions of the Student Aides to the extent (and during the time period when) the Student Aide is working under the direct supervision of the Athletic Trainer and beyond this time frame; UPMC shall not be responsible in any other respect for the actions of the Student Aides (students shadowing Athletic Trainers pursuant to Section 8(b)(i) and 8(b)(ii) are “Student Aides”).

  • Contractor’s billing and collection responsibilities shall be limited only to Elective Services and to Collection of Yard Trimmings.

  • NEOMIN will provide, as approved by the Governing Board, special "Elective Services" in which each district can participate, if so desired.

  • Further, Contractor shall have the right to terminate or suspend all Elective Services or any Yard Trimmings collection service, and shall have the right to pursue all other rights and remedies available to the Contractor pursuant to this Contract or otherwise at law or in equity, in the event of nonpayment of fees due and owing to the Contractor by the Service Unit.
