Educational Agency definition

Educational Agency. As defined in Education Law 2-d, a school district, board of cooperative educational services, school, charter school, or the New York State Education Department.

Educational Agency means any Person, entity or organization, whether governmental, government chartered, private, or quasi-private, that engages in granting or withholding Educational Approvals for, administers financial assistance to or for students of, or otherwise regulates private postsecondary schools in accordance with standards relating to the performance, operation, financial condition or academic standards of such schools, including any Accrediting Body, whose approval is required to participate in the Title IV Programs.
