If the Charter School elects to contract or amend a contract with an Education Service Provider at any point during the term of the Charter, the Charter School shall seek and receive approval of the contract or amendment from the SCSC Executive Director prior to the execution of the contract or amendment.
Education Service Provider means a nonprofit or for-profit organization that contracts with charter schools to provide multiple educational, operational, or comprehensive management services, including, but not limited to, curriculum design, instructional resources, professional development, financial and operational management, facilities management, or any combination thereof.
If an Education Service Provider (ESP) will be managing the School’s operations, the contract between the ESP and the School may dictate the selection process.
If any Education Service Provider will be managing the School’s operations, the contract between the ESP and the School shall be submitted to the Sponsor prior to approval of this Charter.
School shall provide written notice to Sponsor 30 days before the effective date of any contract it enters into with an Education Service Provider.
