Education and Experience. Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by journey-level training in at least one of the building trades and three years of responsible skilled maintenance experience. WORKING CONDITIONS: Employees in this classification work both inside and outside, in changing temperatures, with electrical hazards, fumes, machinery with moving parts, moving vehicles, exposure to minor contagious illnesses (colds, flu, etc.), in direct contact with students and other District staff, in the absence of direct supervision, driving a vehicle to conduct work.
