EC declaration of verification definition
EC declaration of verification means, for a subsystem, the ‘EC’ declaration of verification established pursuant to Article 18 and Annex V to Directive 2008/57/EC which is a declaration that the subsystem satisfies the requirements of the relevant European legislation including any national rules that are used to implement the essential requirements of Directive 2008/57/EC;
EC declaration of verification means a declaration drawn up by a project entity in relation to a structural subsystem in accordance with Article 18 of and Annex V to the Directive;

The corresponding certificates of the CAB on component conformity and the evidence provided regarding the assessment of the QSS are parts for the technical dossier which the customer has to keep ready for the EC declaration of verification.
Reference of the following documents to the above mentioned railway section must be clearly demonstrated: - EC declaration of verification of the sub-systems issued by the applicant for each sub- system installed including all the relevant EC certificates of verification of sub-system from a NoBo and DeBo and the safety assessment report following applicable TSI.
The EC declaration of verification shall be fully in line with annex V of the Interoperability Directive.
