Due Completion Date definition

Due Completion Date means the date of expiry of the time stated in the Scope of Works in Annexure “B” for achieving Practical Completion of the Works, calculated from the Commencement Date and as adjusted by such extensions of time or acceleration as may be allowed in terms of the Contract;
Due Completion Date means the date specified as such in the relevant Schedule A or proposal.
Due Completion Date means the date of expiry of the Time for Completion stated in the Contract Data or as tendered in the Form of Offer for achieving Practical Completion of the Works (whichever is the lessor), calculated from the date of Site Handover and Instruction to Commence with the Works and as adjusted by such extensions of time or acceleration as may be allowed in terms of the Contract

Examples of Due Completion Date in a sentence

  • The programme shall be in bar-chart format showing in detail how the Contractor proposes to complete the work covered by this contract by the Due Completion Date.

  • The whole of the Works shall be completed within the Due Completion Date.

  • The Employer need not occupy the Works before the Due Completion Date.

  • Once the Contractor has complied with the list of outstanding issues such date shall be deemed to be the Due Completion Date, unless occupation is due to the Contractor's method of work.

  • Except where the use of plant is essential in order, in the opinion of the Engineer, to meet the specified requirements by the Due Completion Date, the Contractor shall use only hand tools and equipment in the construction of those portion(s) of the Works that are required in terms of these Project Specifications to be constructed using Labour Intensive Construction methods.

  • Thus, provided that where such period is negative, the Due Completion Date shall not be revised.

  • If the Contractor fails to complete the Works to the extent which entitles him to receive a Certificate of Practical Completion in terms of Clause23.10.2, by the Due Completion Date, the Contractor shall be liable to the Employer for an amount calculated 0.3% of the Contract Price per delayed day, which shall be paid for every day which shall elapse between the Time for Completion and the date stated in the Taking-Over Certificate.

  • If a Contractor fails to maintain progress in terms of the programme, he shall produce a revised programme showing the modifications to the original programme necessary to ensure completion of the Works before the Due Completion Date.

  • Save only for additional work, or variations ordered to be carried out after the Due Completion Date, the increase or decrease applied to monthly statements in terms of this Contract Price Adjustment Schedule, relating to work done, Plant and/or materials supplied after the Due Completion Date, shall be half the factor calculated by inserting the formula refered to in Clause1 hereof, the indices Lt, Pt, Mt and Ft applicable at the Due Completion Date.

  • Whenever the approved Project Plan no longer reflects that actual progress will meet the Due Completion Date, the Contractor shall deliver to the Consultant an revised Project Plan.


More Definitions of Due Completion Date

Due Completion Date means the date or dates of the expiry of the time stated in the Contract Data for achieving Practical Completion for the whole or portions of the Works, calculated from the Commencement Date and as adjusted by such extensions of time or acceleration as may be allowed or agreed in terms of Contract.
Due Completion Date means the date of expiry of the time stated in the Appendix for completing the execution of the Works, calculated from the Commencement Date and as adjusted by such extensions of time as may be allowed in terms of Clause 45.'

Related to Due Completion Date

  • Completion Date means the date of completion of the Services by the Service Provider as certified by the Procuring Entity

  • Substantial Completion Date means the date on which Substantial Completion occurs.

  • Final Completion means the date determined and certified by A/E and Owner on which the Work is fully and satisfactorily complete in accordance with the Contract.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Construction Period means the period commencing from the Appointed Date and ending on the date of the Completion Certificate;

  • Practical Completion means that stage in the execution of a Named Project when the Works have been completed in accordance with the terms of the relevant Building Contract and/or the terms of this Agreement such that the AHP Dwellings comprised within the Named Project are fit for beneficial occupation as a residential development in accordance with applicable NHBC or equivalent requirements current at the date of inspection subject only to the existence of minor defects and/or minor omissions at the time of inspection which are capable of being made good or carried out without materially interfering with the beneficial use and enjoyment of the Named Project and which would be reasonable to include in a snagging list, and Practically Complete shall be construed accordingly; Process has the meaning ascribed to it in the DPA; Procurement Law means (as the case may be):
