Drug-free definition

Drug-free under the D&A Policy means no level of drug or inactive drug metabolites at sufficient concentration to be detected in urine at the threshold set by the standard;
Drug-free means abstinence from the use or possession of alcohol, tobacco, betel nut, mind-altering drugs, as evidenced by odor or the presence of paraphernalia (e.g. bongs, pipes or scales), and from the abuse of prescription drugs (i.e. the use of prescription drugs for non-medical purposes or by persons other than who they were prescribed for).
Drug-free means the complete absence of controlled substances in the blood stream which are not consumed pursuant to a current prescription written by a physician or other licensed professional authorized by law to write prescriptions for the current treatment of an acute or chronic medical or psychological condition.
