Double Cropping definition

Double Cropping means the practice of planting and harvesting more than one irrigated crop per irrigated acre each year. Harvesting includes either mechanically harvesting or grazing of livestock. The following practices will not be considered Double Cropping: (1) cover crops for Conversation purposes only, (2) crop rotation programs that average one irrigated crop per irrigated acre each
