Domestic Leave definition

Domestic Leave means domestic violence as defined in the Crimes (Domestic and Personal Violence) Act 2007.

Examples of Domestic Leave in a sentence

  • The parties recognize and agree that should the Domestic Leave Act of 2014 be amended or repealed in whole or in part by any Act of the General Court and signed by the Governor, then the following provisions shall be amended or repealed, in whole or in part, in accordance with the Act passed by the General Court and signed by the Governor.

Utility service through a single or master meter for residential apartments or condominiums, including service for common areas and facilities and vacant units, shall be deemed to be for domestic use. Each seller shall establish and maintain a system whereby individual purchases are determined as exempt or nonexempt;

  • Bereavement Leave means "a leave of absence granted to an employee upon a death occurring in the employee's Immediate Family.”

  • Eligible veteran means an individual who is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs as meeting all of the following conditions:

  • Accumulated leave means the period of time that is accumulated under the Plan as leave during a work period.

  • Medically Necessary Leave of Absence means any change in enrollment at the post-secondary school that begins while the child is suffering from a serious illness or injury, is medically necessary, and causes the child to lose student status for purposes of coverage under the Plan.

  • Domestic entity means an entity whose internal affairs are governed by the law of this state.

  • Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.

  • Not Domestic Law means any obligation that is not governed by the laws of (A) the relevant Reference Entity, if such Reference Entity is a Sovereign, or (B) the jurisdiction of organisation of the relevant Reference Entity, if such Reference Entity is not a Sovereign.

  • Medical leave means leave of up to a total of 12 workweeks in a 12-month period because of an employee’s own serious health condition that makes the employee unable to work at all or unable to perform any one or more of the essential functions of the position of that employee. The term “essential functions” is defined in Government Code section 12926. “Medical leave” does not include leave taken for an employee’s pregnancy disability, as defined in (n) below, except as specified below in section 11093(c)(1).
