Domestic Business Employee definition

Domestic Business Employee means a Business Employee who is located in the United States or who is an expatriate Business Employee employed by a Western Union U.S. entity but who is performing services outside of the United States for a temporary period of time at the request of his employer.
Domestic Business Employee means a Business Employee who is employed by Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx in the United States.
Domestic Business Employee means a Business Employee who is not a Canadian Business Employee.

  • First Data shall also be responsible for long-term disability benefits for any Domestic Business Employee who is receiving weekly short-term disability benefits as of the Distribution Date and who becomes eligible for long-term disability benefits thereafter, provided that the total disability relates to the same condition for which weekly short-term disability benefits were paid and, provided further, that such long-term disability benefits are payable under an insurance contract.

  • Western Union shall assume and be solely responsible for all other claims for long-term disability payable on or after the Distribution Date with respect to any Business Employee and shall continue to be responsible for all claims for short-term disability benefits for any Domestic Business Employee, without regard to when the disability occurred.

  • Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx shall continue to be responsible after the Distribution Date for administering all claims for workers’ compensation reported by a Domestic Business Employee prior to the Distribution Date under the terms of any Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx workers’ compensation policy or plan; however, Halyard shall reimburse, and shall indemnify Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx, or its subsidiaries or Affiliates, for any amounts payable under such claims.

  • Any Domestic Business Employee whose employment terminated on or prior to the Effective Time due to retirement and who elected or is eligible to elect retiree medical and/or retiree life insurance benefits under the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx Retiree Medical and/or Retiree Life Insurance Plan.

  • Any Domestic Business Employee whose employment terminated prior to the Cessation Time due to retirement and who elected or is eligible to elect, pursuant to a Kxxxxxxx-Xxxxx-sponsored continuation plan or rights under COBRA, or any comparable state law, to continue participation in any Welfare Plan.

Related to Domestic Business Employee

  • Business Employee means any Person who is a present or former employee of Seller at any time prior to or on the Closing Date, and who provided or previously provided any services relating to the Business.

  • Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).

  • Domestic business entity means a corporation, as defined in s. 180.0103 (5), a domestic limited liability company, a partnership, as defined in s. 178.0102 (11), a limited partnership, as defined in s. 179.01 (7), or a corporation, as defined in s. 181.0103 (5).

  • Transferred Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.

  • Company Employee means an employee of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.

  • Excluded Employee means an employee as defined in section 3527, subd. (b) of the Government Code (Ralph C. Dills Act) except those excluded employees who are designated managerial pursuant to section 18801.1 of the Government Code.

  • Active Employee means a contributing member of the TRS who is employed by a public school and is not entitled to coverage under a plan provided under Insurance Code Chapter 1551 (Texas Em- ployees Group Benefits Act) or 1601 (State University Employees Uniform Insurance Benefits Act).

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).
