DOE Contracting Officer definition

DOE Contracting Officer means a person with the authority to enter into, administer, and/or terminate DOE Prime Contracts and make related determinations and findings. The term includes certain authorized representatives of the DOE Contracting Officer acting within the limits of their authority as delegated by the DOE Contracting Officer.
DOE Contracting Officer as used in this clause, means the Department of Energy Contracting Officer for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, as defined in FAR 48 CFR 2.101.
