Distribution Network Operator definition

Distribution Network Operator or “DSO” shall mean the operator of a Distribution Network.
Distribution Network Operator means a person who operates a distribution network;
Distribution Network Operator means, in relation to a Supply Point, the holder of a licence under section 6(1) (c) of the Act to distribute electricity in the area it is situated; “Distribution System” means the Distribution Network Operator’s system for distributing electricity to the Metering at a Supply Point;

Where this Code places an obligation on an Electricity Retail Data Agent, each Distribution Network Operator shall ensure that its Electricity Retail Data Agent shall comply with the obligations expressed to be placed on an Electricity Retail Data Agent.

Where an Electricity Retail Data Agent acts for more than one Distribution Network Operator, each such Distribution Network Operator shall be jointly and severally liable for any failure by such Electricity Retail Data Agent to comply with the obligations expressed to be placed on the Electricity Retail Data Agents under this Code.


More Definitions of Distribution Network Operator

Distribution Network Operator or “DNO” means the distribution network operator of a gas distribution network which is connected to the NI Network at a DN Exit Point;
Distribution Network Operator. (DNO) means the distribution licence holder (or exempt operator) who owns and/or operates the electricity distribution system through which electricity is conveyed to the Supply Point where the Supply Point is not connected directly to the Transmission Network Operator;

Distribution Network Operator means a holder of a Distribution Licence.
