DLA Disposition Services may, from time to time, propose modifications or amendments to the provisions of this MOA.
In the event of an LEA termination, the State Coordinator will make every attempt to transfer the LESO Program property of the terminated LEA to an authorized State or LEA, as applicable, prior to requesting a turn-in of the property to the nearest DLA Disposition Services location.
This program is also known as the “1033 Program” or the “LESO Program” and is administered by DLA Disposition Services, Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO).
Once approved by DLA Disposition Services, the Recipient will only submit requisitions for equipment that is necessary to meet the requirements for educational efforts in the school/educational non-profit.

Note: Costs of shipping or repossession of such property by the US Government will be borne by DLA Disposition Services.
Law enforcement agencies that have multiple instances of a missing, lost, or stolen LESO Program small arm within a five (5) year window will be assessed by DLA Disposition Services to determine if a systemic problem exists.
