Displaced Person definition

Displaced Person means a person who, on account of the execution of the Project, has experienced or would experience direct economic and social impacts caused by: (i) the involuntary taking of land, resulting in: (A) relocation or loss of shelter; (B) loss of assets or access to assets; or (C) loss of income sources or means of livelihood, whether or not such person must move to another location; or (ii) the involuntary restriction of access to legally designated parks and protected areas, resulting in adverse impacts on the livelihood of such person; and “Displaced Persons” means, collectively, all such Displaced Persons.

  • Identify the Relocation Assistance benefits received per Displaced Person.

Displaced Person means a national of Bosnia and Herzegovina whose status of a displaced person has been established by a competent administration authority responsible for the displaced persons affairs as provided by law.
Displaced Person means any person who, on or after July 6, 1971, moves from real property, or moves his personal property from real property, as a result of the acquisition of such real property, in whole or in part, or as the result of the written order of the Department of Transportation to vacate real property, for a program or project undertaken by or supervised by the Department and solely for the purposes of subsection (a) and (b) of section 8-268 and section 8-271 of the Connecticut General Statutes as a result of the acquisition of or as a result of the written order of the Department to vacate other real property, on which such person conducts a business or farm operation, for such program or project;

If the move occurs after a written order to vacate is issued, the occupant is considered a displaced person even though the property is not acquired.
