Dietitian/Nutritionist means a person who is registered or eligible for registration as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Business and Professions Code, Chapter 5.65, Sections 2585 and 2586).
Assistance with eating and meal preparation for the person receiving services in adherence with any diet prescribed by an M.D., Nurse Practitioner, or Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist 3.
A failure to adhere to the above code of ethics, constitutes unprofessional conduct and a violation of lawful rules and regulations adopted by the board and further constitutes grounds for disciplinary action specified in R.S. 37:3090 of the Dietitian/Nutritionist Practice Act and these rules and regulations and also constitutes grounds for a denial of licensure or a renewal of licensure.
Once recipes have been adjusted to meet the requirements of the JHV's population, a copy of each recipe with its nutrient analysis, shall be supplied by the Home's Dietitian/Nutritionist.
