Diesel Index definition
Diesel Index means the diesel fuel price in dollars per gallon for the Lower Atlantic region of the East Coast of the U.S. as published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.”

With respect to increases or decreases in fuel rates, if the average Diesel Index during such Pricing Period increases or decreases $0.25 or more compared to a base fuel cost of $1.39, then the applicable Agreed Markup Per Case for the immediately following Pricing Period shall be increased or decreased by $0.01 for each full $0.10 increase or decrease in the Diesel Index.
