Designated RA Capacity definition

Designated RA Capacity shall be equal to, with respect to any particular Showing Month of the Delivery Period, the Contract Quantity of Product (including any Alternate Capacity) less any reductions to Contract Quantity made by Seller pursuant to Section 4.4 for such Showing Month.
Designated RA Capacity means, for each Unit, the RA Capacity that Seller provides to Buyer pursuant to this Confirmation that is certified for inclusion in RAR Showings and if applicable LAR Showings, in each case as determined or approved by the CPUC (and/or, to the extent authorized by the CPUC, by the CAISO) pursuant to the CPUC Decisions, or by an LRA having jurisdiction. Designated RA Capacity shall include those attributes associated with the capacity identified in Sections 2 and 3 hereof. For each Monthly Delivery Period, a Unit's Designated RA Capacity shall be equal to the product of (x) the Unit's RA Capacity, after reflecting adjustments for Outages, if any, required by the CPUC (and/or, to the extent authorized by the CPUC, by the CAISO), or by an LRA having jurisdiction, and (y) the Unit's Prorated Percentage of Unit Factor, provided that the total amount of Designated RA Capacity from all Units shall not exceed the Contract Quantity.
Designated RA Capacity means, for each Unit, the amount of RA Capacity that Seller provides to Buyer pursuant to this Confirmation that is certified for inclusion in RAR Showings and if applicable LAR Showings, in each case as determined or approved by the CPUC (and/or, to the extent authorized by the CPUC, by the CAISO) pursuant to the CPUC Decisions, or by an LRA having jurisdiction. Designated RA Capacity shall include those attributes associated with the capacity identified in Article 2 and Article 3 hereof.

Examples of Designated RA Capacity in a sentence

  • Seller shall provide Buyer with the Designated RA Capacity of Product for each Showing Month.

  • Rather, the Product confers the right to include the Designated RA Capacity in RAR Showings, LAR Showings, Flexible RAR Showings, and any other capacity or resource adequacy markets or proceedings as specified in this Confirmation.

  • If a centralized capacity market develops within the CAISO region, Buyer will have exclusive rights to offer, bid, or otherwise submit Designated RA Capacity provided to Buyer pursuant to this Confirmation for re-sale in such market, and retain and receive any and all related revenues.

  • However, Buyer shall be entitled to receive and retain all revenues associated with the Designated RA Capacity of any Unit during the Delivery Period (including any capacity or availability revenues from RMR Agreements for any Unit, Reliability Compensation Services Tariff, and Residual Unit Commitment capacity payments, but excluding payments described in clauses (a) through (e) above).

  • Seller shall provide Buyer with Designated RA Capacity from the Units in the amount of the Contract Quantity.

  • A Unit Scheduling Coordinator’s failure to timely submit accurate Supply Plans that identify Buyer’s right to the Designated RA Capacity purchased hereunder.

  • Seller shall provide Buyer with Designated RA Capacity from the Unit in the amount of the Contract Quantity specified in Section 4.3. If the Unit is not available to provide the full amount of the Contract Quantity for any reason other than Force Majeure, including without limitation any adjustment of the RA Capacity of any Unit, as set forth in Section 4.4(c), then Seller shall have the option to supply Alternate Capacity to fulfill the remainder of the Contract Quantity during such period.

  • Such commercially reasonable actions shall include, without limitation: cooperating with and providing, and in the case of Seller causing each Unit’s Scheduling Coordinator, owner, or operator to cooperate with and provide requested supporting documentation to the CAISO, the CPUC, or any other Governmental Body responsible for administering the applicable RAR, LAR, and Flexible RAR under Applicable Laws, to certify or qualify the Contract Quantity as RA Capacity and Designated RA Capacity.

  • BoundariesThe boundary fences and gates must be maintained by the Tenant(s).

  • Each Unit's Monthly RA Capacity Payment shall be equal to the product of (a) the applicable Contract Price for that Monthly Delivery Period, (b) the Designated RA Capacity for the Monthly Delivery Period, and (c) 1,000.


More Definitions of Designated RA Capacity

Designated RA Capacity means, for each Unit, the amount of RA Capacity that Seller provides to Buyer pursuant to this Confirmation that is certified for inclusion in RAR Showings and if applicable, LAR Showings, in each case as determined or approved by the CPUC (and/or, to the extent authorized by the CPUC or CAISO) pursuant to the CPUC Decisions, or by an LRA having jurisdiction. Designated RA Capacity shall include those attributes associated with the capacity identified in Article 2 and Article 3 hereof.

Related to Designated RA Capacity

  • RA Capacity means the maximum megawatt amount that the CAISO recognizes from a Project that qualifies for Buyer’s Resource Adequacy Requirements and is associated with the Project’s Capacity Attributes.

  • New Capacity means a new Generator, a substantial addition to the capacity of an existing Generator, or the reactivation of all or a portion of a Generator that has been out of service for five years or more that commences commercial service after the effective date of this definition. For purposes of Section 23.4.5 of this Attachment H, “Offer Floor” for a Mitigated Capacity Zone Installed Capacity Supplier that is not a Special Case Resource shall mean the lesser of (i) a numerical value equal to 75% of the Mitigation Net CONE translated into a seasonally adjusted monthly UCAP value (“Mitigation Net CONE Offer Floor”), or (ii) the numerical value that is the first year value of the Unit Net CONE determined as specified in Section 23.4.5.7, translated into a seasonally adjusted monthly UCAP value using an appropriate class outage rate, (“Unit Net CONE Offer Floor”). The Offer Floor for a Mitigated Capacity Zone Installed Capacity Supplier that is a Special Case Resource shall mean a numerical value determined as specified in Section 23.4.5.7.5. The Offer Floor for Additional CRIS MW shall mean a numerical value determined as specified in Section 23.4.5.7.6. For the purposes of Section 23.4.5 of this Attachment H, “Non-Qualifying Entry Sponsors” shall mean a Transmission Owner, Public Power Entity, or any other entity with a Transmission District in the NYCA, or an agency or instrumentality of New York State or a political subdivision thereof.

  • Excess Capacity means volume or capacity in a duct, conduit, or support structure other than a utility pole or anchor which can be used, pursuant to the orders and regulations of the Commission, for a pole attachment.

  • Idle capacity means the unused capacity of partially used facilities. It is the difference between: (a) that which a facility could achieve under 100 percent operating time on a one-shift basis less operating interruptions resulting from time lost for repairs, setups, unsatisfactory materials, and other normal delays; and (b) the extent to which the facility was actually used to meet demands during the accounting period. A multi-shift basis should be used if it can be shown that this amount of usage would normally be expected for the type of facility involved.

  • Nominal Capacity means the volume indicated by the manufacturer that represents the maximum recommended filling level.

  • System Capacity means the operational capacity of the System at any applicable point in time.

  • Maximum Capacity or ‘Pmax’ means the maximum continuous active power which a power-generating module can produce, less any demand associated solely with facilitating the operation of that power-generating module and not fed into the network as specified in the connection agreement or as agreed between the relevant system operator and the power-generating facility owner;

  • Contract Capacity has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(f).

  • Committed Capacity means that portion of the Capacity that is required to meet the Capacity Entitlements of Access Holders;
