Design Firm definition

Design Firm means the firm engaged by the Design-Builder to design the Project, as described in the Respondent’s Response and as may be changed pursuant to this RFQ.
Design Firm means, in the case where the Architect of Record is not an individual doing business as a sole proprietorship, the firm (whether a sole proprietorship, corporation, partnership or other association) which employs the Architect of Record.
Design Firm means the firm engaged by the Design-Builder to design the Project.

More Definitions of Design Firm

Design Firm means the firm(s) engaged by the Design-Builder to design the Work, as described in the Respondent’s Response and as may have been changed pursuant to the RFQ or as may be changed pursuant to this RFP.

  • Architect/Engineer or “A/E” means the Person identified in the Agreement responsible for providing professional design services and construction contract administration for the Project. The A/E shall be (1) a registered architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, (2) a landscape architect holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Landscape Architects Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4703, or (3) a professional engineer or professional surveyor holding a license and certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board pursuant to ORC Chapter 4733. As used in the Agreement, the term A/E may include a criteria architect or engineer for a Design-Build project.

  • Architect means the person or other entity engaged by the PHA to perform architectural, engineering, design, and other services related to the work as provided for in the contract. When a PHA uses an engineer to act in this capacity, the terms “architect” and “engineer” shall be synonymous. The Architect shall serve as a technical representative of the Contracting Officer. The Architect’s authority is as set forth elsewhere in this contract.

  • Design-build entity means a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, or other legal entity that is able to provide appropriately licensed contracting, architectural, and engineering services as needed pursuant to a design-build contract.
