Deputy Fire Chief definition

Deputy Fire Chief means a person appointed by Council to act on behalf of the Fire Chief of the Fire Department in the case of absence or a vacancy in the office of the Fire Chief.

Deputy Fire Chief means a Member appointed to act on behalf of the Fire Chief;

Deputy Fire Chief means the person who, in the absence of the Fire Chief, is assigned to be in charge of the particular activity of the fire Department and who has the same powers and authority as the Fire Chief.

Deputy Fire Chief means the Deputy Fire Chief of the Department, as appointed by by- laws of the Municipal Councils of both Aurora and Newmarket who shall also serve as the Deputy Fire Chief to both of the Towns of Aurora and Newmarket, having all of the powers and responsibilities that appointment carries with it under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 (Ontario).
