DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits definition

DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits means the benefits accrued by Participants and Prior UCC Program Participants in accordance with Section 3.04 of the Plan that would have been provided under the DEPP Component of the Dow Employees' Pension Plan but for the statutory limitations in Code sections 415 and 401(a)(17) and based upon the alternative definitions of Compensation and Average Compensation, as applicable, provided in this Plan.
DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits means the benefits accrued by Participants in accordance with Section 3.1 of the Plan that would have been provided under the DEPP Component but for the limitations in sections 401(a)(17) and 415 of the Code.
DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits means the benefits accrued by Participants in accordance with Section 3.1 that would have been provided under the DEPP Component but for the limitations in Code sections 401(a)(17) and 415; provided, that no Participant shall accrue additional benefits under the Plan on or after January 1, 2024.

Examples of DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits in a sentence

  • Subject to the delay for Key Employees, vested Restricted Benefits, vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits, and vested Cadre Benefits accrued under the Plan shall be payable commencing in the first month following the Participant's Separation from Service.

  • Objectives: To fund the activities and projects that enables the Fund to fulfil its legislated objectives: • Language and Culture study• Entrepreneurship• Leadership• Heritage and Indigenous knowledge.

  • If a Participant is married or has a domestic partner (as defined in the Dow Employees' Pension Plan) when the Participant Separates from Service, then the Participant's vested Restricted Benefits, vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits, and/or vested Cadre Benefits shall be paid in the form of a 100 % joint and survivor annuity.

  • For the Restricted Benefits and/or DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits, to the extent the Participant is eligible to elect it, any of the three options described above – single life annuity, 50% joint and survivor annuity, or 100% joint and survivor annuity – with a Guaranteed Payout Option.

  • The second and thirds provide you flexibility in organizing your course work.

  • If a Participant does not have a spouse or domestic partner when the Participant Separates from Service, then the Participant's vested Restricted Benefit, vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits, and/or vested Cadre Benefits shall be paid in the form of a single life annuity.

  • Notwithstanding the provisions in this Section 4.01, if the present value of the sum of a Participant's vested Restricted Benefits, vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits, and/or vested Cadre Benefits under this Plan as of the date the Participant Separates from Service, is equal to or less than twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000), such benefits will instead be paid as a single lump sum payment at the time provided in Section 4.01(b)(iii).

  • Subject to the special rules provided in this Section 4.1, a Participant’s vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits shall be payable in one of the actuarially equivalent life annuities described below.

  • Subject to the delay for Key Employees, a Participant's vested Restricted Benefits, vested DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits, and/or vested Cadre Benefits that satisfy the description of small benefits in Section 4.01(a)(iii) shall be paid as a single lump sum in the third month following the Participant's Separation from Service.

Related to DEPP Component Supplemental Retirement Benefits

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Supplemental Retirement Plan means (i) the Company’s Amended and Restated Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan, (ii) the Company’s Supplemental Management Retirement Plan, (iii) the Company’s Amended and Restated Top Hat Restoration Plan, and (iv) the Company’s Defined Contribution Restoration Plan.

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • Additional gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are more than the schedule fee and which otherwise meet the requirements of the fund’s no or known gap policy, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:

  • Supplemental Benefit means the monthly benefit payable to the Executive under this Agreement.

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Net Benefits Test means a calculation to determine whether the benefits of a reduction in price resulting from the dispatch of Economic Load Response exceeds the cost to other loads resulting from the billing unit effects of the load reduction, as specified in Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, section 3.3A.4 and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix, section 3.3A.4.

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Disability Support Pension means the Commonwealth pension scheme to provide income security for persons with a disability as provided under the Social Security Act 1991, as amended from time to time, or any successor to that scheme.

  • Deferred Retirement Date means, in the case of any Participant who continues in employment after his Normal Retirement Date, the first day of any month following his actual retirement.

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

  • Medical Benefits Schedule means the Medicare Schedule of Benefits produced by the Department of Health to which all fees and benefits relate for inpatient hospital services.

  • Qualified Preretirement Survivor Annuity means an annuity which is payable for the life of the Participant's surviving spouse.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Liberty to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.

  • retirement annuity contract means a contract or scheme approved under Chapter III of Part XIV of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988;

  • Additional Special Servicing Compensation As defined in Section 3.11(d).

  • Last Monthly Benefit means the gross Monthly Benefit payable to the Insured Employee immediately prior to death. Any reductions for Other Income Benefits, or for earnings the Insured Employee received for Partial Disability Employment, will not apply.

  • Retirement Plans means the retirement income, supplemental executive retirement, excess benefits and retiree medical, life and similar benefit plans providing retirement perquisites, benefits and service credit for benefits at least as great in value in the aggregate as are payable thereunder prior to a Change in Control.

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Benefit Commencement Date means, for any Participant or beneficiary, the date as of which the first benefit payment, including a single sum, from the Participant’s Account is due, other than pursuant to a withdrawal under Article VIII.

  • Additional Compensation has the meaning given to it in Section 10.2;
