Deposit Securities definition

Deposit Securities means, as of any date, any United States dollar-denominated security or other investment of a type described below that either (i) is a demand obligation payable to the holder thereof on any Business Day or (ii) has a maturity date, mandatory redemption date or mandatory payment date, on its face or at the option of the holder, preceding the relevant Redemption Date, Dividend Payment Date or other payment date in respect of which such security or other investment has been deposited or set aside as a Deposit Security:

Deposit Securities means cash and Municipal Obligations rated at least A2 (having a remaining maturity of 12 months or less), P-1, VMIG-1 or MIG-1 by Moody's or A (having a remaining maturity of 12 months or less), A-1+ or SP-1+ by S&P.

• Except for the identity, number and price of shares of the component securities of the Deposit Securities and Redemption Securities, as described above, confirmations to customers must disclose all other information required by Rule 10b-10(a).

Deposit Securities means cash and any obligations or securities, including Short Term Money Market Instruments that are Eligible Assets, rated at least AAA or A-1 by S&P, except that, for purposes of optional redemption, such obligations or securities will be considered "Deposit Securities" only if they also are rated at least P-1 by Moody's.

Except for purposes of determining compliance with the AMPS Basic Maintenance Amount, each Deposit Security shall be deemed to have a value equal to its principal or face amount payable at maturity plus any interest payable thereon after delivery of such Deposit Security but only if payable on or prior to the applicable payment date in advance of which the relevant deposit is made.

Deposit Securities means an in-kind deposit of a designated portfolio of equity or fixed-income securities or other financial instruments as determined from time to time in the sole discretion of the Trust in accordance with the terms of the Prospectus.
