DEPENDENT PRACTITIONERS means all those Allied Health Practitioners who are permitted to practice in the Hospital only under the supervision of a practitioner(s) appointed to the Medical Staff and who function pursuant to a defined scope of practice. The Supervising Physician(s) is responsible for the actions of the Dependent Practitioner in the Hospital.
