Police Department means the law enforcement agency designated by the County Prosecutor to receive such information.
Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, an Indian tribe, or a foreign government, or a person or entity acting under a grant of authority from or contract with such public agency, including the employees or agents of such public agency or its contractors or persons or entities to whom it has granted authority, that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate.
international application means an application filed under this Treaty;
Public highway means a public highway, road, street, avenue, alley, or thoroughfare of any kind, or a bridge, tunnel, or subway used by the public.
Compliance Department means the Chief Compliance Officer of Federated and those other individuals designated by him or her as responsible for implementing this Code and the Associated Procedures.
Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) means the Government Agency responsible for oversight of public procurement.
Council of governments means a decision-making body in each county composed of membership including the county governing body and the mayors of each municipality in the county.
Insurance Regulatory Authority means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar Governmental Authority charged with regulating insurance companies or insurance holding companies, in its jurisdiction of domicile and, to the extent that it has regulatory authority over such Insurance Subsidiary, in each other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary conducts business or is licensed to conduct business.
Procurement Regulations means, for purposes of paragraph 87 of the Appendix to the General Conditions, the “World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018.
National Road Traffic Act means the National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996);
Department of Defense (DoD) means the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and defense agencies. "Foreign-flag vessel" means any vessel that is not a U.S.-flag vessel.
Department of Transportation means the United States Department of Transportation and any agency or instrumentality of the United States government succeeding to its functions.
Development regulations or "regulation" means the controls
Department of Health means the Washington state department of

Fire Department means an organized fire department as that term is defined in section 1 of the fire prevention code, 1941 PA 207, MCL 29.1.
ITAR means the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Environmental Protection Agency or “EPA” means the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Government Authorities means, without limitation, all Government departments and agencies with responsibility for the import and export of goods, the collection of revenue on the import and export of goods and the transport of those goods to include, without limitation, Customs, AQIS, the ATO and the RSA;
DOT means the United States Department of Transportation.
Public health means the level of well-being of the general
Regulatory Floodway means the channel of a river or other watercourse and the adjacent land areas that must be reserved in order to discharge the base flood without cumulatively increasing the water surface elevation more than a designated height.
Contracting Department any contracting authority as defined in Regulation 5(2) of the Public Contracts (Works, Services and Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 other than the Department; "Contractor Personnel" all employees, agents, consultants and contractors of the Contractor and/or of any Sub-contractor; "Contractor Software" software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services; "Crown Body" any department, office or agency of the Crown;
Land Use Regulations means all ordinances, resolutions and codes adopted by the City governing the development and use of land, including the permitted use of land, the density or intensity of use, subdivision requirements, the maximum height and size of proposed buildings, the provisions for reservation or Dedication of land for public purposes, and the design, improvement and construction and initial occupancy standards and specifications applicable to the Development of the Property. “Land Use Regulations” do not include any City or City-agency ordinance, resolution or code governing any of the following:
Aeronautical authorities means, in the case of the People’s Republic of China, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, and, in the case of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Communications, or in the case of either of the Contracting Parties, any person or body authorized to perform any functions exercised by the said authorities.
Department of Justice means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice.
