Default Investment Option definition

Default Investment Option means the Investment Fund designated by the Plan or selected by the Committee on behalf of all Participants at the time they first become eligible to participate in the Plan. The Default Investment Option shall be the Income Fund, unless otherwise determined in the sole discretion of the Committee.
Default Investment Option means an investment strategy applied when the PEPP saver has not provided instructions on how to invest the funds accumulating in his PEPP account;
Default Investment Option means the investment option that the trustee company designates from time to time, from among the investment options made available by the trustee company to the members, for default purposes.

More Definitions of Default Investment Option

Default Investment Option means the default investment option specified from time to time by the Committee for hypothetical investment of a Participant’s Deferral Account in the event the Participant fails to allocate all or a portion of his Deferral Account to a particular Investment Option.
Default Investment Option means the Investment Option designated by the Benefits Administrator, in its sole discretion, for the investment of any Matching Contributions, Special Executive Credits, Elective Deferrals, and Core/Transition Contributions in cases where a Participant has failed to provide valid investment directions with respect to any portion of his or her Account.
