Deepen means a single operation whereby a well is drilled to an objective Zone below the deepest Zone in which the well was previously drilled, or below the Deepest Zone proposed in the associated AFE, whichever is the lesser.

Deepen for a cased well means an operation whereby a well is drilled to a measured depth below the cement casing shoe. For an open hole completion, “Deepen” means an operation whereby a well is drilled below the original measured depth of the well.

Deepen and other derivatives shall be construed accordingly.
