Deep Burial definition

Deep Burial means an area of the Landfill excavated to accommodate and bury Controlled Waste with a minimum of 50 cm of cover material.

  • Burial means burial in earth, interment in any form of sepulture, or the cremation or any other mode of disposal of a dead body and “buried” has a corresponding meaning.

  • Campground means real property made available to persons for camping, whether by tent, trailer, camper, cabin, recreational vehicle, or similar device and includes the outdoor recreational facilities located on the real property. “Campground” does not include a manufactured home community or mobile home park as defined in section 435.1.

  • Campsite means any place where bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established, or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.

  • Waterbody means any accumulation of water, surface or underground, natural or artificial, including rivers, streams, creeks, ditches, swales, lakes, ponds, marshes, wetlands, and ground water. The term does not include any storage or treatment structures.

  • Deep well means a well located and constructed in such a manner that there is a continuous layer of low permeability soil or rock at least 5 feet thick located at least 25 feet below the normal ground surface and above the aquifer from which water is to be drawn.
