Debarment List definition

Debarment List means any list published by the World Bank Group, the African Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development or the Inter-American Development Bank (or any successor organisations of the foregoing) of contractors or individuals who are ineligible to tender for, or participate in, any project that they fund;
Debarment List means the list of debarred suppliers kept by a Minister of the Crown pursuant to section 62 of the Act; Effective Date of Contract means the date stated on the purchase order or, if there is no such date stated, the date upon which both Parties have signed the purchase order. Issued Property means any item of Government Furnished Assets (GFA), including any materiel issued or otherwise furnished to the Contractor in connection with the Contract by, or on behalf of, the Authority. Legislation means in relation to the United Kingdom any Act of Parliament, any subordinate legislation within the meaning of section 21 of the Interpretation Act 1978, any exercise of Royal Prerogative or any enforceable community right within the meaning of Section 2 of the European Communities Act 1972. Mixture means a mixture or solution composed of two or more substances. Notices means all notices, orders, or other forms of communication required to be given in writing under or in connection with the Contract. Parties means the Contractor and the Authority, and Party shall be construed accordingly.
