Days of Care definition

Days of Care means the number of days in which a youth placed in, and physically present at, a facility operated by the Provider, plus the number of days of allowable absences during the time in which the youth is in placement in such program.

  • Continuum of care means a full range of economic, physical, psychological, social and support programs and services necessary to maintain or restore older individuals to their optimal environment.

  • System of care means the coordination of a system of services and supports to individuals and their families that ensures they optimally live, work, and recreate in integrated communities of their choice.

  • Routine care means medical care which is not urgent or emergent in nature and can wait for a regularly scheduled physician appointment without risk of permanent damage to the patient’s life or health status. The condition requiring routine care is not likely to substantially worsen without immediate clinical intervention.

  • Plan of care means a written document developed for each individual by the support team using a person-centered approach that describes the supports, services, and resources provided or accessed to address the needs of the individual.

  • Servicer Policies and Practices means, with respect to the Servicer’s duties under Exhibit A to the Servicing Agreement, the policies and practices of the Servicer applicable to such duties that the Servicer follows with respect to comparable assets that it services for itself and, if applicable, others.

  • Conditions of Carriage means these conditions of carriage.

  • Past Practices shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.5.

  • Contract of carriage means a contract made by or on behalf of a carrier for the carriage by sea of a passenger or of a passenger and his luggage, as the case may be;

  • Attendant care means assistance with ADL, IADL, and health-related tasks through cueing, monitoring, reassurance, redirection, set-up, hands- on, standby assistance, and reminding as described in OAR 411-300-0150.

  • Customary Servicing Practices means the customary servicing practices of the Servicer or any Sub-Servicer with respect to all comparable motor vehicle receivables that the Servicer or such Sub-Servicer, as applicable, services for itself and others, as such customary servicing practices may be changed from time to time, it being understood that the Servicer and the Sub-Servicers may not have the same “Customary Servicing Practices.”

  • Past Practice means past practices, accounting methods, elections and conventions.

  • Pharmacy care means medications prescribed by a licensed physician and any health-related services considered medically necessary to determine the need or effectiveness of the medications.

  • Practices means that the practice(s) seems like a logical approach to addressing a specific behavior which is becoming distinct, recognizable among Clients and clinicians in practice, or innovators in academia or policy makers; and at least one recognized expert, group of researchers or other credible individuals have endorsed the practice as worthy of attention based on outcomes; and finally, it produces specific outcomes.

  • Respite care means care anticipated to be provided for a period of 28 days or less for the purpose of temporarily relieving a family member or other caregiver from his or her daily caregiv- ing duties.

  • Service Specifications means the following documents, as applicable to the Services under Your order:

  • Service Standards means the set of Service Measures, Service Levels, conditions and Service Guarantee Payments as set out in Schedule 1;

  • comparables means information that compares an issuer to other issuers;

  • Prudent Servicing Practices The standard of care set forth in each Servicing Agreement.

  • Preventive Care means certain Preventive Care services.

  • Emergency care means management for an illness or injury which results in symptoms which occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate care by a medical practitioner to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the insured person’s health.

  • Best Practices means a term that is often used inter-changeably with “evidence- based practice” and is best defined as an “umbrella” term for three levels of practice, measured in relation to Recovery-consistent mental health practices where the Recovery process is supported with scientific intervention that best meets the needs of the Client at this time.

  • Standards means: any standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent bodies (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Supplier would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with; any standards detailed in the specification in Framework Schedule 1 (Digital Services) or Framework Schedule 6 (Standards and Security); any standards detailed by the Customer in this Contract or as agreed between the Parties from time to time; any relevant Government codes of practice and guidance applicable from time to time.
