CW3 definition

CW3 means an Employee employed on the basis of having completed three or more Certificate II traineeships. An Employee having the skills, qualifications and competency and substantially assigned to exercise the following duties:

Examples of CW3 in a sentence

  • This work is typically performed by Employees engaged within CW1, CW2 or CW3 classifications.

  • For example, a locksmith is within the CW3 classification in the Award.

  • A locksmith under the Agreement is paid at the lowest rate for a classification within the CW3 band in the Agreement, that is, the rate payable to a Painter-Repaint.

  • CW3 – Carpenters rate (36 hours); Site allowance p/h ($50m project); leading hand rate (2-5) p/h; and fares and travel 5-day week.

  • The rates as calculated under Superannuation in this Agreement have been calculated using the agreed industry formula as follows: 12% of the sum of: CW3 – Carpenters rate (36 hours); Site allowance p/h ($50m project); leading hand rate (2-5) p/h; and fares and travel 5-day week.

  • Upon successful completion of the traineeship and acquiring a Certificate 3 from the relevant State Training Authority, the Employee will achieve a minimum CW3 qualification.

  • A locksmith under the Agreement is paid at the lowest rate for a classification within the CW3 band in the Agreement, that is, the rate payable to a Painter- Repaint.

  • Then 90% of a CW3 for the remaining duration of their training qualification.

  • The CW3 (trade) rate includes provision for payment of a tool allowance.

  • CW-3 4,001 – 6,000 Hours 6,000 Hours of Documented Experience CW-4* 6,001 – 8,000 Hours 8,000 Hours of Documented Experience And must pass a practical exam on conduit bending and three way/four-way switching CE-1* 8,001 – 9,000 Hours 9,000 Hours of Documented Experience And must pass a practical exam on blueprint reading and transformer connections.
