Customer average interruption duration index (CAIDI) definition
Customer average interruption duration index (CAIDI) means the average interruption duration for those customers who experience interruptions during the year. It is calculated by dividing the annual sum of all customer interruption durations by the total number of customer interruptions.
Customer average interruption duration index (CAIDI) means the average interruption duration of the sustained interruptions for those who experienced interruptions during the reporting period determined by dividing the sum of all sustained Consumer interruption duration in minutes by the total number of interrupted Consumers for the reporting period;

Customer average interruption duration index (CAIDI) means the average interruption duration or average time to restore service per interrupted customer and shall be presented as the following ratio: Total sum of customer interruption durations/total number of customer interruptions;
